They manged to keep their plans under wraps which is not always an east thing to do.
Blake and Ryan had fielded wedding rumors only a few months back but this time it was the real deal.
Remember that when Blake Lively was identified on a police reports as being Ryan Reynolds wife.
Reynolds had apparently filed a report back in July about a photographer following them and the officer identified Lively as Reynolds wife leading to wild speculation that they had already tied the knot.
The couple has been together going on a year so it was apparently time to make it legal and declare their undying love for one another.

Gossip Girl Blake Lively reportedly wore a gown from Chanel and Ryan Reynolds was dressed in a Hugo Boss tuxedo. Their wedding bands were designed by Manhattan jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.
It seems that no expense was spared with Perez Hilton reporting that the wedding cake cost a whopping 3 grand and the cake was driven in truck from Maryland, an 8 hour drive.

They also brought in their minister of choice from Connecticut.
So where did the ultra private wedding nuptials take place?
It was at the Boone Hall Plantation, just outside of Charleston, in Mount Pleasant South Carolina
E! News reported that the invite list included a few Hollywood insiders, close friends and Blake Lively’s manager.
The wedding reception was reportedly held in white tent and had some great entertainment.
Bette Midler sang along with music from Blake Lively’s close friend Florence Welch of Florence and The Machine who reportedly sang three songs for the couple.
This marks the first, and hopefully only, marriage for Blake.
Ryan Reynolds has one marriage under his belt already. He was married to Scarlett Johansson from 2008-2011
