Britney Spears close to closing deal at Caesars Las Vegas
Unbelievably, it looks like Britney Spears is really close to closing a deal at Caesars Las Vegas.
Why unbelievable, you ask?
Well, because she can’t sing. We all know that.
The last time Britney ever really sang was on Star Search and that was a very, VERY long time ago.
We are thrilled that she seems to have gotten her life together and has overcome a lot of personal demons that she faced.
She’s defintely on the mend and looks terrific.
No more babysitter (Jason Traywick) and she’s going to record another studio album so things are looking up.
But Vegas? In a live show?
The Britney Spears of yesteryear did put on awesome shows, lip syncing and all.
The new Britney walks through her appearances but I guess if you have a huge Vegas production show, it won’t matter if she lip syncs, although most people, I think, would want and expect her to really sing.
Another thing is that those who have Vegas shows are usually fabulous entertainers but they are more yesteryear – older.
The deal might be as high as $200 million so I guess the almighty dollar wins.
If the deal comes to fruition, and it looks like it will, it will be only for a limited number of engagements since, word is, that Britney Spears will not relocate to Las Vegas. Not yet, at least.
It probably would not be a good idea anyhow for someone that has mental health issues.
I absolutely love Las Vegas but it is not a good town to live in if you have “issues”
Will a Vegas career catapult Britney back to mega super stardom or is it just a an extremely profitable stop on the way out for an aging superstar?
