Britney Spears Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood
The long awaited Britney Spears Las Vegas residency is purportedly signed and Ms. Spears will be coming to Las Vegas.
Full details have yet to be released but the still pretty, lip-syncing performer has inked a two-year deal with Caesars Entertainment to perform at their Planet Hollywood property in Las Vegas.
The show is being billed by some as , “not your father’s Shania Twain concert”.
Ms. Spears will allegedly bring a cool, hip type of show to Las Vegas and early rumors are hinting at a debut sometime in the next few months, possibly close to New Year’s eve which is one of the busiest times in Las Vegas.
Britney Spears contract will also call for her to make the publicity rounds by making several appearances at pool parties and events.
There has also been speculation that Spears appeared before Judge Reva Goetz, who is overseeing the consevatorship case, however this has not been confirmed.
Will Britney be able to handle the pressures of a regular type of gig? Early reports indicate that she will have plenty of time off and during that downtime she will return to Los Angeles.
It’s been a long, rough road for Spears and there are many people pulling for her and hoping her show will be a success. She has been flying under the radar getting in shape.
Her cool, hip musical revue will undoubtedly be a big production with lots of other dancers, distractions and side effects.
Many are predicting that Spears will not sing live and will lip sync to a prerecorded track and that the “focus” will really be more about the show.
Britney is currently working on her eighth studio album.
