Britney Spears to get $15 million as X Factor Judge
It looks like Britney Spears reportedly signs on as x factor judge. Yes, Britney Spears is close to signing on the dotted line for a stint as a judge on the X Factor.
Weeks earlier, Spears allegedly nixed a $10 million dollar offer and her camp countered with $20 million. Simon Cowell then appeared to distance himself and allegedly said that he doesn’t think she’d be the best choice as she might not be able to deliver very good advice to the singers. It was also rumored that he was worried about the contestants taking her seriously considering her past and was considering others with mega star power.
What a difference a short time makes! Eonline is reporting that in addition to her enormous $15 million salary her soon-to-be husband, Jason Trawick has secured a spot as a producer on the show. According to Eonline, “Jason is expected to be there every day Britney is on set. He is her rock and will help guide her through the process. He is the person she trusts the most,” Perhaps this helped to alleviate Cowell’s concerns or perhaps he could not secure the likes of megastars Janet Jackson or Mariah Carey.
Although Britney will be paid a rumored $15 million far surpassing JLo’s $12 million, will she deliver the goods in an intelligent, productive upbeat banner or will she appear dulled because of the rumored drugs she is taking for her alleged mental condition? Can Britney help propel the X Factor to the number one spot? Cowell must think (hope) so.
