It’s great to hear that Jerry Lawler is getting better after his heart attack.
The WWE veteran had only wrestled in a tag team match about 45 minutes before having a heart attack while he was announcing at Monday Night RAW.
He fell silent and shortly after, you could see people in the audience looking at his empty chair ringside at the announcer’s table. It was apparent something had gone wrong.
They were even chanting his name.
Michael Coulthard better known as Michael Cole was visibly shaken and nearly in tears when he announced that Lawler was removed to the back of the venue and receiving CPR.
He emphasized that is was real and not a joke.
After announcing for a bit, the announcer’s table fell silent for the rest of the event.
Lawler was removed by stretcher to the back of the venue and given CPR immediately.
He was even shocked seven times with a defibrillator and underwent an angioplasty Tuesday plus he had three stents put in to open his coronary arteries.
On Wednesday evening, Michael Cole excitedly tweeted that he spoke to Lawler on the telephone and that he was alert and in great spirits and that Jerry Lawler wanted to thank everyone for their support.

Former WWE Diva and Lawman’s ex-wife, Stacy Carter, tweeted on Wednesday that there was nothing new to report and the Lawler was recuperating.
But the best news was the video that Lawler himself made from the hospital!!
He looked really great, was completely lucid and even made jokes about the wiring he is hooked up to.
It is not not known how long Jerry Lawler will have to remain in the hospital and when he will return to the WWE.
Judging by how great he looks, it doesn’t seem like it will be too long.
