Jimmy Kimmel spared no one at White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) Dinner.
Kimmel was on a roll and did equal time offending everyone.
Those of you following Celebrity Feast know that we’ve written about how the WHCA Dinner has strayed very far from what it was originally meant to be and has turned in to a who’s who of Hollywood overshadowing honoring journalistic excellence.
President and Mrs. Obama were gracious and laughed even when Kimmel deadpanned, “I know you won’t be able to laugh at my jokes about the Secret Service. Please cover your ears, if that’s physically possible.”
The audience, for the most part, sat stone faced, whispering or in uncomfortable silence, there was a collective audible “ooooohhhhhhhhh” when Kimmel asked, “What is Black and White and Red (read) all over?”, and then answered his own question with the word, “Nothing”. Funny!
Kimmel poked fun at Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian indicating that they weren’t too bright and received a lukewarm reception for his jokes directed at George Clooney …. that is until he ended it with mentioning The Clooney’s fondness for gorgeous women.
