Wouldn’t you think she would know this or that one of her handlers would have told to wait.
Randy Jackson says it all about getting the music out there.
She’s got 3 versions released and some are saying that rappers Meek Mill and Rick Ross overpower her on themain version!
Let’s see – Maria Carey signs a huge deal to be a Judge on American Idol. Huge as in 18 million.
Although Mariah Carey is a phenomenal talent, this is her first release in 3 years after her self imposed hiatus.
Fans have a short memory and there is a lot of competition out there right now.

One of the reasons she signed on with American Idol, in addition to the mega paycheck, is for the opportunity to perform for a tremendous audience.
Then everyone runs out and buys your record, you have a mega hit and your make more money. You also get back on the charts and regain your popularity.
Just ask Jennifer Lopez. Jlo is now back on top thanks to American Idol.
Does Mariah Carey not listen to her business managers – since we know she’s a diva and can be headstrong? or Did they somehow bungle this all on their own.
Shoot, I am an out-of-work struggling blogger and I could have told you how to successfully launch “Triumphant”.

You start a marketing campaign using print and social media, “Triumphant – the countdown begins” and each week you put out more copy of a triumphant looking Cary – you know holding up her fist etc.
Then you start tweeting about it.
But you don’t start that until about 60 days before American Idols starts.
And then, American Idol opens with a simultaneous release of Triumphant AFTER she performs it on Idol.
Instead, she releases it, it’s getting a lukewarm response and will be all but forgotten when it’s time for Idol.
There is a way to recover but if no steps are taken, it certainly detracts from all the attention surrounding her joining Idol.
