It’s official. Simon Cowell is now a daddy.
His son was born at Lenox Hill Hospital just before 6 p.m. Baby Cowell reportedly weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
The former American Idol judge and creator and judge on the cancelled USA X-Factor made headlines when it was revealed that Cowell was bedding his former friend’s wife, Lauren Silverman.
He seemed to take it pretty well when Silverman said she was preggers and has been keeping a semi-low profile, although many wonder what the future will hold for Cowell and Silverman.
Cowell, a lifelong bachelor, is rumored to have a harem of women available at a moments notice and doesn’t like to answer to anyone. He’s reportedly quite spoiled and likes things on his terms.
Most of the woman he’s been rumored to have hooked up have worked with him in the past and most come from backgrounds of a lower economic status. Some have even reportedly been working gals. Because of the cash and goodies he lavishes on them, they reportedly make themselves available at his beck and call.

Silverman, on the other hand, was married to a mega rich guy, Andrew Silverman, a New York real estate mogul so she certainly won’t go away quietly should things not work out to her liking with Cowell.
Whether he marries Silverman or not remains to be seen, however, we all know that she and his son will be well taken care of.
She already inked a reportedly amicable settlement with her former hubby and their divorce was finalized just one month after news broke that Cowell knocked her up.
Andrew Silverman handled it all with tons of class and said he simply wanted what was best for their 7-year-old son.
He certainly held the cards in the matter since he could prove that his wifey was preggers while they were still married.
This is Cowell’s first child.
