Former NFL Quarterback and sports legend Troy Aikman ponies up nearly 2 million in divorce settlement.

Troy and Rhonda Aikman were married for 10 years and divorced in 2011.  When it was revealed that he and Rhonda were heading for divorce, Troy Aikman had this to say,

“This has been a difficult decision for Rhonda and me, but after 10 years of marriage we have decided to separate.  We remain deeply committed to our children and respectfully ask that you honor our family’s privacy during this period of adjustment.”

According to TMZ, Aikman is worth a reported $25 million.  Can that be right? Wouldn’t you think he’s worth more?

Plan and simple Troy Aikman is a legend.  He played 12 consecutive season as a Quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys leading the team to 3 Super Bowl Wins and is CURRENTLY a sportscaster for FOX.  He is also a former joint owner of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing team, Hall of Fame Racing, along with fellow former Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, and is a part-owner of the San Diego Padres. And….he also owned the now closed Troy Aiken car dealership in Dallas, TX. Let’s not forget that he does the Rent A Center commercials with Hulk Hogan too!

And he’s only worth 25 Mil.  Yeah right!  And even if that figure is accurate, ex-wife Rhonda’s share of less than 10% seems paltry

Honestly, yes I believe he’s worth more than that but regardless, HE is the one who made all that money and SHE is the one who decided to cheat on him and therefore end their marriage. If I was the judge I wouldn’t have even given her 2 million given that she sabotaged the marriage. Truth is, she doesn’t deserve a penny.

I’ve always held my own so I tend to mostly agree with you but then I hear about all these women who have been there for their guy, provided lots of emotional support, raised the family etc and they do seem to a vested interest in the partnership.
