What’s with the inappropriate comments from Kirstie Alley?
Life can be tough for the “in” Hollywood starlets so just imagine how difficult it can be for aging actresses like Kirstie Alley. Feeling that alienation must be the reason for the barrage of recent inappropriate comments from Kirstie Alley.
Alley, who once was a svelte, sexy woman has struggled with weight problems for many years. She even had a reality show Fat Actress on the air for a short time.
We had thought she banked her money pretty well for her role on Cheers, however, maybe she does not have as much money as we once thought.
Why else would she do those ridiculous and embarrassing commercials for Poise panty liners?
She has even hawked her own line of weight loss supplements that has been marred in controversy and lawsuits.
She appeared on Dancing with the Stars for 2 seasons with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, lost a good amount of weight and was back in the public eye.
Initially we though DWTS was simply a vehicle for the actress to gain exposure with a generation that may not be familiar with her, but, maybe the aging actress needed the moolah.
Who knows?
Anyway, sometime after that it happened.
Kirstie Alley started going goofy in an attempt to keep herself relevant in the public eye.
The still sexy “oldster” decided that she needed to do something to make news, or maybe to stay in the news.
She began making the rounds and said she had “affairs” with both Patrick Swayze and John Travolta.
She clarified her comments to say they were “emotional affairs” but that they were love.
Were these revelations, even if true, really necessary?
What was the point of it?
Self promotion through and through.
Kirstie Alley has also reportedly been pigging out lately and it must have gotten worse around the holidays.
Fat or thin, you have to admit she has a certain kind of appeal.
Hopefully the tacky, inappropriate comments from Kirstie Alley will stop and we won’t hear her babbling about any more “emotional affairs’ or see her in any other Poise commercials.
Wouldn’t it be great to see her on a DWTS reunion in 10 years!
