High profile personalities turn down invites to Kim and Kanye wedding

Word is that a number of high-profile personalities want no part of the Kim and Kanye wedding circus.
Kim and Kanye are absolutely obsessed with putting on the wedding of the century. They are reportedly completely engrossed with every little detail and are spending a whopping $125,000 per person on wedding favors alone.
Proving that money can’t buy class, so far more than 100 people have said, “Thanks – but no thanks,” as they politely turned down their invites to the May 24 Kim and Kanye wedding which may be a Parisian event.
Robin Thicke, Jared Leto, Jonah Hill, Anna Wintour, Oprah Winfrey, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Prince, Karl Lagerfeld plus Kanye’s close pals Beyonce and Jay Z are just some of the high profile names that reportedly have no desire to attend the Kim and Kanye wedding mega event.
First Lady Michelle Obama was invited. And yes she turned them down too. If you remember her hubby the President has called Kanye West an asshole at least twice so it’s no surprise that the First Lady would turn down an invite to the Kim and Kanye wedding.
Celebrities say no to Kim and Kanye wedding
Although they have a ton of money – – millions upon millions between them — both are widely viewed as low class self-absorbed insecure people that are perfect for one another.
Since the camera will be rolling for at least part of the wedding you can bet that E! is picking up a good portion of the tab.
Kanye is viewed as a glorified thug who threatens and bullies his way into events, and his lady love Kim Kardashian is viewed as a very phony “reality star” who lucked out after starring in a sex tape that she likely leaked to the media herself.
Kanye West is also known for his nonsensical rants and he fancies himself as some kind of genius.
Money can buy things though, we all know that, and he can claim success with one of his rants.
After he insulted Michelle Obama, he had told Ryan Seacrest in an interview that Kim Kardashian should be on the cover of Vogue. He said,
There’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue. She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday … and collectively we’re the most influential with clothing. No one is looking at what [President] Obama is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day … so it’s to say when we are there and [editor-in-chief of French Vogue] Carine Roitfeld supports my girl, that’s a breakthrough … there’s a wall of classism that we are breaking through
So somehow he managed to buy his way into a Vogue cover deal because it is extremely doubtful that Kim Kardashian was, all of a sudden, called for the cover. To sweeten the deal, he also agreed to appear and the April 2014 issue is selling a lot of copies.
