Elton John cuts England concert short
Elton John cuts England concert short due to safety concerns. He had to leave the stage 2 hours into his recent concert in England.
The concert was taking place at the English resort town of Blackpool when Police stopped the concert. They had concerns about the strong winds in the outdoor arena, Everyone was evacuated and fortunately, no one was hurt.
After Elton John was forced to cut the England concert short, he made an apologetic announcement to his fans, He said, “I have been told there is some really bad weather on the way. The police say you need to leave right now in an orderly fashion. I’m sorry but I don’t want anyone to be hurt. I’ll make it up to you.”

Elton John recently cut a concert in Las Vegas but that one was due to Elton’s own diva-like actions when he allegedly threw a temper fit. You can read about that here.
Elton John is slated to return to Las Vegas at the The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Las Vegas in October, 2012. That concert run was cut short due to illness. Under doctors orders, he had to miss his scheduled dates in late May at the Colosseum, due to a serious respiratory infection. He had released a statement again apologizing to fans,
“It feels strange not to be able to perform these ‘Million Dollar Piano’ concerts at the Colosseum … I love performing the show and I will be thrilled when we return to the Colosseum in October to complete the 11 concerts. All I can say to the fans is sorry I can’t be with you”
Let’s hope that this is last of any bad runs for Sir Elton John.
