Flavor Flav is fighting domestic abuse charges in Las Vegas because he didn’t do it?

That might be a bit hard to prove.

Police had been called to the Las Vegas home in the am hours on Wednesday of last week by his fiancée, Liz, because he was threatening her son with knives.

Apparently Flav, real name William Drayton Jr., and his fiancée, Liz were arguing about his cheating ways.

Things quickly escalated and the confrontation turned physical.

Flav allegedly grabbed Liz and threw her to the ground.

Liz’ son intervened, in an attempt to protect his mother.

Then Flavor Flav allegedly grabbed two large knives from the kitchen and started chasing her son around the house, threatening to kill him. The 17 year old ultimately locked himself in the bedroom and it’s been reported that Flavor Flav kicked in the bedroom door and continued to threaten the boy.

Police arrived and arrested Flav who was quickly released on $23,000 bail.
Now, Flavor Flav is fighting domestic abuse charges against him and he reportedly wants to reconcile with his longtime fiancé.

He has denied chasing or threatening his fiancés 17 year old son however his left hand reportedly had cuts on it from one of the knives.
Flav is really facing some serious prison time.

Domestic violence is no laughing matter, particularly when there is a weapon involved.
Nevada has the dubious honor of ranking #1 in the nation for domestic violence against women by men and many of these confrontation results in death. It’s a ranking the state is not proud of and Nevada has held that spot for 5 of the past 6 years.

If convicted, he could face up to six years in prison for felony assault plus up to six months on misdemeanor domestic battery charges.
