You gotta love Joan Rivers – – at least I do.
The E! Fashion Police hostess is quick and absolutely no subject is off limits to her.
That’s what she does for a living – COMEDY.
Not everyone appreciates her humor.
The 79 year old comedienne came under fire from Anti Defamation League (ADL) for her recent comments.
Here’s what happened
Costco bans Joan Rivers book
You see, Rivers has a new book out called, I Hate Everything . . . Starting with Me.
The book was referred to as, “Often hilarious, often shocking, totally politically incorrect.” by Liz Smith of The Huffington Post
Costco didn’t think so and they have banned the book.
They say that it is too profane. Like it or not, agree or not, they do have the right to not sell it.
And Rivers has the right to protest their decision if she so chooses.
And she did.
Rivers was understandably pissed and decided to protest Costco’s decision.
She showed at one of their Burbank outlet locations armed with copies of her books, a team of assistants and a bullhorn.

In the typical brash personality she is known and loved for, Joan Rivers chained herself, in protest, to a shopping cart at Costco(you go girl)
She even had a bullhorn
That’s not what pissed the ADL off.
It was when she gave an onsite interview to KTLA. She said,
People should have the right to have the literature they want. This is the beginning of Nazi Germany
That’s what upset the ADL. Now they’ve released a statement saying that there is comparison in the decision to not sell a book. “and the policies of the Nazi regime that engaged in the systematic persecution and slaughter of millions of Jews and others during the Holocaust”
Joan Rivers was extremely pissed off at the statement. Her husband lad lost his entire family during the Holocaust.
If you ask me, people are just too sensitive. We live in A-M-E-R-I-C-A – land of the free.
She is a comedienne, folks. A Comedienne.
