Rosie O’Donnell Cancelled
Looks like Rosie O’Donnell is out of a job again. Rosie O’Donnell Cancelled! Well, her show at least.
It’s funny because I ‘m a fan of Oprah’s who isn’t – and I hate to admit it but I have not watched her network at all. I did look and at first, I could not even find it. Once I did find it, I started looking at the lineup and made a mental note to catch Rosie O’Donnell.
I wanted to see what her new show was like. With Rosie you either love her, as many do or hate her, as Donald Trump does.
I had seen some type of promo before the Rosie Show was aired. It showed Rosie’s style. She wanted a more open type of set and was tearing down walls. Oprah had given her “Carte Blanche” to do it her way and you could tell that it just wasn’t the way Oprah way did things. Rosie, for her part, seemed very much appreciative at Oprah giving her a second chance.
Rosie O’Donnell (Photo credit: Wikipedia)I only caught a few episodes of The Rosie O’Donnell show this past month and actually it was fairly enjoyable so perhaps she was just starting to come into her OWN…..lol. She seemed genuine, had an easy banter with the guests and she’s funny! She seemed to interact quite well with her guest and with the audience.
Personally I think it was a combination of factors that lead to Rosie O’Donnell being cancelled. The time slot just wasn’t right or – -hate to say it Oprah – but it was the network. It was still just too new.
The gossip going around is similar to what has been said about past Rosie stints, arrogant, hard to work with…blah, blah, blah. Donald trump was certainly overjoyed at the news of Rosie O’Donnell no longer having a show!
She’ll survive though!
