Remember the old Britney, the one that would hang out with the paparazzi, wander aimlessly, and get into lots of car accidents? She was palling around with Sam Lufti, who said he was her Manager. Because of documents he filed, Britney Spears may be forced to testify if competent enough
That was a really bad time for Brit.
That ‘s behind her now and it was before Britney’s father got involved and before she was under a conservatorship. Now Britney allegedly can’t even make the most basic decisions for herself because she suffers from mental illness.
Her beau and fiancee Jason Traywick even a job as a producer on the set so that he can be nearby at all times.
I mean is Britney really that far gone or what?
Well , if Sam Lufti (hey ‘member him) has his way, Britney Spears may be forced to testify if competent enough because of a long running battle between both families.
Lufti had filed a lawsuit a few years back because he had claimed that the was Britney’s manager.
Her family had shot back with allegations that he was drugging her and keeping Britney Spears from her family which resulted in tons of bitter blood and restraining orders and just a whole legal mess in years past.
TMZ is reporting that, Sam Lufti made a filing yesterday in LA County Superior Court because he wants Britney’s conservators to make her available as a witness in the case.
The conservators are saying that Britney is not mentally competent to testify and Lufti is calling BS on that one.
He sure does seem to have a point because TMZ has said that Lufti included with is filing a DVD of Britney appearing on the X-factor to prove that she is mentally competent by showing her at the judge’s table

It seems that Lufti makes a good point. Really. I mean, as far as we know, Britney’s fiancee is not feeding her words on the show proving that she can put sentences together and think for herself.
.Although she does have a general vague, “faraway” look to her, if she can do a show and and be a productive part of it while making millions, then why can’t she testify?
Then again we’re talking Celebrity haven California where rulings tend to be VERY biased in favor of celebrities.
A hearing is set for September 25.
