Britney Spears will not return to X Factor
Right now it looks like Britney Spears will not return to X Factor next season.
Spears reportedly wants to focus on her music so she is walking away from a relatively easy $15 million!
Yes folks – that’s how much she received for her role on season 2 of the X Factor.
We all know Britney Spears has had her share of personal problems. Her appearance on the X Factor was part of a well-planned strategy to place her in the public eye, in controlled circumstances, to prove to the world that she is OK.
Her hubby-to-be, Jason Traywick even secured a baby-sitting job on the show as a “producer”, as part of the package for Britney to accept the deal, just so he could be close at hand.
Britney’s father and Traywick still control many aspects of her life due to the long-running conservatorship, and she seems to be getting much stronger. If you recall, her initial interviews were done with either Traywick sitting by her side, or a handler was nearby.
As the show went on, she seemed stronger, more confident, articulate and displayed honesty, mixed in with a sense of humor, in her role as X Factor judge and mentor.
Make no mistake though, she is not free. Remember when she sang Happy Birthday to L.A. Reid on the show? Her “handlers” quickly pulled all copies of the video down because they did not want the world to ridicule her singing.

A sad but true fact is that Britney can’t sing. It’s all studio magic.
Britney Spears makes a ton of money while she sleeps so, rest assured, she doesn’t need the money at all. $15 million is merely chump change to her.
She supposedly wants to focus on her music and is currently recording her 8th studio album.
Although the story being circulated is that Britney Spears will not return to X Factor because of her decision to focus on her music, there are nagging rumors that she just didn’t click with viewers on the X-Factor and really wasn’t wanted for season 3.
After her album is complete, her goal, or her family’s goal, is to put her out on tour again looking gorgeous so she can lip sync her way across the globe adding millions more to her fortune.
