Sheena Monnin, the former Miss Pennsylvania quits Miss Universe because it’s rigged.
Monnin claims that the top 5 finalists were pre-picked and that another pageant contestant knew the names before they were announced and told them to her right before they were called. Monnin went on to say that the pageant is “fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy.”
Donald Trump, owner of the Miss Universe Organization is pissed and told Today, “What we’ve authorized today is we’re going to bring a lawsuit … She said some really strong things. When she’s using the word ‘fraud,’ that’s pretty strong, so we’re going to be suing her on that basis.” He then trashed her a bit saying that she was not good enough and had, “losers remorse”..

An informal poll by Yahoo shows that 68% of the people that answered at the time believed Monnin that the pageant is rigged.
I don’t know about it being rigged but I do know that when you have a bunch of women working together, that they can be quite “catty” and downright vengeful.
I’ve worked around some very beautiful cocktail waitresses in high-end Las Vegas casinos . Really stunning, sexy women. One story that comes to mind, is this girl who received a prime work station area in the table games area and was making a ton of $’s. The other girls were insanely jealous of her and tried to make her miserable.

Then, she had the great fortune of receiving a contract with a modeling agency and the jealousy took a horrendous turn. When she went in to the changing area to get her uniform, she found it was full of holes because it was doused with acid and “irritants” were added to her cosmetics and perfume. It was such an awful environment for her to be in, that she finally left. She went on to be quite successful and fortunately was able to put the episode behind her.
Perhaps the contestant who called out the top 5 to Sheena Monnin just guessed it. Perhaps not. She released this statement on her facebook page,
I have decided to resign my position as Miss Pennsylvania USA 2012. Effective immediately I have voluntarily, completely, and utterly removed myself from the Miss Universe Organization. In good conscience I can no longer be affiliated in any way with an organization I consider to be fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy. I do not support this system in any way. In my heart I believe in honesty, fair play, a fair opportunity, and high moral integrity, none of which in my opinion are part of this pageant system any longer. Thank you all for your support and understanding as I walk a road I never dreamed I’d need to walk, as I take a stand I never dreamed I’d need to take. After 10 years of competing in a pageant system I once believed in, I now completely and irrevocably separate myself in every way and on every level from the Miss Universe Organization. I remove my support completely and have turned in the title of Miss Pennsylvania USA 2012.
It’s pretty fruitless going up against Trump unless you have a huge bankroll so she’ll probably settle and release some type of lightly apolegetic statement in exchange for some cash to keep quiet.
