Michael Jackson’s Dad shows he’s packing heat at Tuscany Casino in Las Vegas and he seems mighty proud of it.
Joe Jackson, who has seem to be a bit “Zany” in his older years, caused a bit of a stir in Las Vegas.
His behavior though was very crass and ghetto when he was honored at the Black Music Awards held at the Tuscany Hotel and Hotel, located just east of the Las Vegas strip.
According to TMZ,
Joe was introduced by his friend — Majestik — who told the crowd a story about Joe confronting Michael Jackson’s bodyguards two weeks before Michael Jackson’s untimely death.
During the alleged confrontation, Majestik says Joe flashed his gun at the guards and said — “If I hear you all givin’ my son drugs or doing anything illegal with my son … I’ma kill all of you.”
When Majestik turned the mic over to Joe — Joe Jackson corroborated the story … saying, “It’s very true. Every word he said.”
Then Joe told the crowd … “I carry a piece everywhere I go … I’m gonna show it to you.”
Joe proceeded to open up his suit jacket, revealing a handgun holstered by his hip.
He explained the reason for carrying a piece saying, “I’ve been threatened a lot of times and so I need to be safe.”
It appears that the he is allowed to carry the piece, according to TMZ..
He purportedly obtained a permit to carry a concealed weapon in 2010 and the permit expires in 2015 so he has not done anything wrong although if the guards or casino personnel knew beforehand that Joe Jackson was packing heat, they would have likely asked him to lock up his gun and, if he refused, they could have at their discretion, denied him entry to the event.
As the saying goes, Money can’t buy class”.
