Flavor Flav arrested for assault in Las Vegas
Flavor Flav arrested for assault in Las Vegas after allegedly chasing the 17-year-old son of his fiancé with a knife.
Flav, real name William Drayton Jr., was arrested Wednesday morning after Police received a call at approximately 3:30 am from his fiancé.
The woman told police her fiancé, Flavor Flav, was threatening her 17-year-old son with a knife.
Flavor and his fiancée of eight years were embroiled in an argument about his cheating ways and the argument turned physical.
Flavor Flav allegedly grabbed his fiancée and threw her to the ground.
The 17-year-old boy interceded, apparently in an attempt to protect his mother, and he and Flavor Flav began fighting.
Flav then reportedly grabbed two large kitchen knives and began chasing the boy threatening to kill him.
The boy locked himself and his sister in her room.
Flavor Flav apparently kicked in the bedroom door and continued to threaten the boy.
Flavor Flav denies chasing or threatening the boy but his left hand reportedly had a cut on it from one of the knives.
Officers found the knives on the kitchen floor.
He has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon as well as domestic violence.
Flavor Flav has since been released from jail.
He is scheduled for a court appearance next week.
