Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino Anti-fat cream? Don’t need that! But he wants to keep the 75 grand advance.

Apparently Mke “The Situation” Sorrentino signed on with Performance Brands, a Florida company that promotes themselves as making the finest Skin Fitness & Tanning products.

They claim that the Jersey Shore star signed a deal with them back in September of 2011 to be the spokesperson for some new anti-fat cream.  His “job” was to promote the product via social media marketing as well as making promotional appearance on behalf of Performance Brands touting the wonders of the anti-fat product.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino sued because Performance Brands says he just didn’t live up to his end.

They figured he’d be an ideal spokesperson due to his magnificent six-pack abs and paid him a $75,000 advance for his very easy J-O-B.

Shortly thereafter, Sorrentino as you may remember The Situation checked himself into rehab.

Since he didn’t hold up his end of the bargain, Performance Brands wants their money back. That seems reasonable, right?

Performance Brands is claiming he breached his contract by failing to disclose his drug addiction, which they feel was known at the time the contract was signed and again, they want their money back – all of it.

Even to a non-lawyer, that request seems reasonable.  The deal didn’t materialize and they want their money back.

So does Mike write a check .  NO he does not.

Rather, Sorrentino has counter-sued.  Get this.  His team is saying that Performance Brands failed to give him a marketing plan on-time or advertise in national magazines, or give him free product.

So lets’ recap.  Mike Sorrentino is claiming he didn’t get free stuff or the marketing plan on time so screw you, the money is mine,

Since the suit was not filed in the celebrity friendly state of California (they are a Florida Company), Performance Brands night actually stand a chance of getting their money back.

Shoot, this sounds like Mary Blige.  Her charity basically steals a bunch of money and she fires back saying that the bank shouldn’t have loaned the money in the first place so it’s ours.

MIke “The Situation” sued for not living up to his end and then counter-sues.

Unbelievable!
