One Direction boy band behaves badly in Las Vegas
The UK’s One Direction boy band behaves badly in Las Vegas and get’s thrown out of a number of Las Vegas casinos.
The boys, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zain Malik, and Louis Tomlinson were discovered by Simon Cowell after they all auditioned separately as solo artists for the hit Britain’s Got Talent, but were dropped at the boot camp stage. Cowell decided the singers all had a future in the competition if they joined forces and become a band and the rest is history in the making.
They were in Las Vegas for a show at the Planet Hollywood Theater on June 9th. They’ve become hugely popular and are perhaps still a bit naive. They thought their $25,000 a night Palms suite. complete with a basketball court, was the same one from The Hangover and were disappointed to find out the comedy was actually filmed in Los Angeles.
The guys were looking to have some down and dirty fun and perhaps wanted to recreate a scene or two or even three from the hilarious movie, .
Either they didn’t realize that the legal gambling age is 21 or they thought maybe they could fly under the radar. They quickly found out that this was not to be. And it’s not for a lack of trying.
They did try numerous times and in numerous casinos.
Disappointment set in when they realized that they really would not be able to drink and gamble or even loiter for that matter, in the Las Vegas casinos.
Casinos are always on the lookout for underage gamblers and there are also regular communications between the casinos too. So although the members of One Direction kept trying, they didn’t get very far and and were promptly booted by security at a number of Las Vegas casinos for being underage.
One Direction is currently embroiled in a lawsuit with an American band of the same name.
