Princess Maha Al-Sudairi, a Saudi Princess skips out on HUGE hotel bill in Paris. Nearly $8 million!! Read on to see why the proprietors of the luxurious Shangri-La hotel in Paris are morons for even allowing her to stay there.
You see, Princess Maha Al-Sudairi, used to be married to the Saudi Crown Prince and deputy prime minister, Prince Nayef bin Abdulazizis, so she had lived the life of a very wealthy Princess and was known for lavishness and overspending. She was actually “cut off” by King Abdullah after racking up HUGE debts worldwide over the last few years and had been “banished” to a palace due to her overspending. Poor, poor Princess.
In December, Princess Maha Al-Sudairi, moved in to the Shangri-La hotel and took over the entire 41st floor with her entourage.
After a lengthy stay, she tried to sneak out at 3:30 am in the morning. Not too easy of a feat if your entourage includes 60 people and you have a fleet of limousines waiting!
Of course she is spotted by hotel staff and authorities are called. But they can’t detain the Princess because she claimed diplomatic immunity.

So, why are the proprietors of the Shangri-La hotel morons?
Well, she has left a trail on tremendous unpaid bills in France and has claimed the famous “diplomatic immunity” before so if you allow her to say without any type of upfront payment, you’re a moron! I mean seriously, you’re just asking for it. So the Saudi Princess skips out on HUGE hotel bill and you’re surprised! You should have been expecting it.
In June 2009, the wayward Princess amassed $24 million in unpaid shopping bills including $100,000 on designer lingerie and claimed diplomatic immunity.
The following year, she was once again bailed out by her oil-rich government after she ordered $30,000 worth of glassware and silverware from a Paris store.
Despite this, the “IOU” notes handed to shopkeepers which read “payment to follow” were usually accepted.
Over the years, up to 30 of Paris’s most exclusive retailers have fallen victim to her bouncing credit notes, French newspapers reported.
So where is the scamming Princess now? At another Paris Hotel, allegedly owned by a family friend. Unbelievably, she still has friends! The princess and her small army of servants have moved to another luxury hotel, the Royal Monceau, near the Champs-Elysees.
Since the Saudi Princess skips out on HUGE hotel bill will she do the same to her friend that has allowed her and her camp to move in. Probably!
Ah, the life of a disgraced Princess.
