Former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a model turned movie star, is receiving a lot of negative attention in the media.
Bachchan, known for her stunning, exotic looks had a baby in November of last year and hasn’t yet returned to her “pre-baby weight”. It seems that the media in India is brutal, maybe even worse then the media in the USA. Known internationally as the “Words Most Beautiful Woman”, fortunately it seems that Indian star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan slammed for being fat, takes it all in stride.
She is expected to walk the red carpet in Cannes later this month and also will also be attending an AIDS fundraising dinner. Reports are she is bringing her new daughter with her, as she has done for her work related trips since becoming a mother. Good for her.
It seems that the world is obsessed with being thin. While most can fully understand to cultivate a certain look especially when you are in the public eye, just how far is too far. Are there any limits?
