The Kate Middleton topless photo shocker has the royal family in a tizzy.

Coming right on the heels of Prince Harry’s antics in Vegas that were photographed for the world to see, now the Royal Family has to deal with the embarrassment of the Kate Middleton topless photo shocker.

Princess Kate, officially known as the Duchess of Cambridge, was relaxing with her husband, Prince William sunbathing in Provence, France on a private holiday.

Both were topless however it was the photos of Kate that have sparked the scandal.

Buckingham Palace is in a tizzy and the Royal family is reportedly suing for invasion of privacy.

Things sure have changed for the Royal family. Years ago, the media all over the world respected the wishes of Buckingham Palace and would rarely defy their wishes.

When Prince Harry was caught playing played “Strip Billiards” with a bevy of beauties prostitutes in Las Vegas, at first the British tabloids were reluctant to print the pics and one had even recreated the scene down to the most minute detail instead of printing the actual pics.

Then the UK Tabloid The Sun said the heck with this and printed the pics.

This time around , French magazine, Closer got the scoop and published the grainy pics which were purportedly taken from a half a mile away.

Since the Kate Middleton topless photo shocker happened in France, St. James’s Palace is very angry saying the actions of the photographer were, “grotesque and totally unjustifiable”

Further, the BBC reports that the Royal Family in addition to taking legal action against the magazine for “breach of privacy,” wants to get the issue of Closer removed from new stands in an effort in preventing the photos from a topless Kate from being circulated.

What do you think – is it a big deal of not?

If public people are in private are they still fair game? Anytime & anywhere?

Should Kate have been more careful?
