We have admired Oprah for so many years and it is just so so sad to realize that Oprah is a racist.

And a phony.

From the surface, who wouldn’t admire her?

She had a hulluva tough childhood and went on to become one of the richest and most powerful people on the planet.

Not just a powerful woman but a powerful and influential person.

The Oprah Winfrey show had a tone of “you can do anything”, and she really inspired so many people.

But the sad truth is that she’s done such a great job of keeping her true feelings under wraps all these years.

Yes, we’ll admit there have been hintings of racism on her part throughout the years but we, like most people just let it slide because she’s Oprah the Queen and seems to have this surreal spiritual presence.

If you looked close, yes there were signs that Oprah is a racist.

She would heartily embrace any black speaker, author or guest on her show and give a little pat pat, half-hearted, phony-ish barely there hug to any of the white guests but we let it go.

Because she was Oprah.

The Queen.

She had guests of all races on her show back then so she did, on the surface, appear to be unbiased.

After the Oprah Winfrey show was done and she created her OWN network, something happened.

Maybe she didn’t care anymore because she made her fortune and figured she’d just go and be herself.

or ….

Maybe she’s been afflicted with the Entitlement Curse, when famous people who have oodles and oodles of money live in some far off never-never land where they have people that cater to their every whim and develop a twisted, distorted sense of reality.

Sadly, that self turned out to what appears to be a phony and a racist.

When Oprah claimed she faced discrimination in Switzerland because she’s black, people worldwide listened and were outraged because, if true, it’s wrong. Very wrong.

We didn’t say to ourselves at that point, “OMG Oprah is a racist”.

In fact, many, including this author, thought Oprah handled herself with class.

When she said that she didn’t want the publicity, we believed her but, in retrospect, that may not be true and may have been a way to garner free publicity and help out her fledgling network.

She outraged so many during her Nov. 15  BBC interview when she said,

There are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.

What an awful thing to say, especially by someone that has so much influence.

Her true feelings were captured forever when she was asked if it ever crossed her mind that President Obama faced racism when she answered with,

Probably it’s crossed my mind more times than it’s crossed your mind. I think that there is a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he is African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.

Oprah is a racist and has been feeding us a line of bull all these years and had made kazillions!
