Sage Stallone dead at 36: Suicide or accidental
Sage Stallone, the 36 year old son of Sylvester Stallone has died at the too young age of 36.
Initial reports said that he was found by a housekeeper and the cause of death , as of yet, not determined.
Reports have been circulating that a number of empty of prescription bottles and empty liquor bottles were found in his home.
Sage Stallone’s longtime attorney and friend,George Braunstein, told People , “There was a report that his room was filled with liquor bottles. Actually, they were empty bottles of Dr. Brown’s Cream Soda.” He also said that although the younger Stallone smoked cigarettes and ate candy that there was no indication or signs of drug use or addiction. Braunstein added that Sage, “didn’t even drink”

Early reports suggested that Sage Stallone may have been dead for days. Braunstein disagrees with those initial findings noting that photos of him at home were posted to his facebook page only 17 hours before he was found.
The description painted by Sage’s attorney and friend is in stark contrast to other reports suggesting that Sage was a recluse who spent days alone in his room, littered with cigarette butts, beer cans and food. A law enforcement source supposedly said that Sage’s room was “disgusting” and reeked of various odors.
It seemed that life was going well for Sage Stallone and by most accounts he seemed happy. He was co-founder of Grindhouse Releasing, a Hollywood-based independent cult film distribution company owned and headed up by film editor Bob Murawski. Sage also reportedly intended to marry his longtime girlfriend in Las Vegas over the weekend
It is not known if Sage was on medication for any type of medical condition or if the purported empty bottles even belonged to him. Initial indications do not point to a suicide leaving many to speculate that it was an accidental overdose.
Sage Stallone worked with his father in the industry. He played Rocky Balboa’s son in “Rocky 5” in 1990 and also appeared in the film “Daylight” with his father, Sylvester Stallone.
Sylvester Stallone is reportedly devastated and grief-stricken by the loss of his son. Sage is Stallone’s first born with ex-wife Sasha Czack. Sylvester Stallone released a statement via his rep to Us Weekly. “Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever.
More information will be known once the finding from the autopsy and toxicology reports are released.
